Terms of Use
Last updated: 8 November 2026
1. Who we are and accepting these terms
Dice World War ("the game", "the site") at diceworldwar.com is made and run by an independent developer based in Israel ("we", "us"). By using the site or the game, including any app version, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.
2. What the game is
Dice World War is a free, single-player browser game of chance. A random country "attacks" a neighbour, both sides roll virtual dice, and the winner takes over the loser's territory on the map.
Advertising. The game is free because it shows ads, provided by Google AdSense, mainly as short ads between battles. Ads are created by third-party advertisers. We don't endorse the products they advertise and aren't responsible for their content or for any deals you make with advertisers. How ads use data is explained in our Privacy Policy. Please don't click ads on purpose to generate revenue or encourage others to do so, as that breaks Google's rules.
- Fiction, not politics. All battles, conquests and empires in the game are random and imaginary. They do not represent, predict, promote or glorify any real conflict, and they say nothing about any real country, people, government or group.
- Map and names. Country shapes and names come from Natural Earth, a public-domain map dataset, with some small adjustments for gameplay. Their use is not an endorsement of any position on disputed borders, territories or sovereignty.
- Numbers. Populations come mainly from the World Bank, plus estimates for some territories. Areas are calculated from the map. All figures are approximate game data, so please don't rely on them for anything else.
3. Using the site
You may play the game for free for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You agree not to:
- interfere with or disrupt the site, its servers or networks, for example by flooding it with automated requests, probing it for vulnerabilities without permission, or attempting denial-of-service attacks;
- use the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that infringes anyone else's rights;
- pretend to be us, or present a copy of the game as the official Dice World War.
Sharing screenshots, recordings and videos of your games, including on social media and video platforms, is welcome.
4. Intellectual property
The game's design, code, graphics and text are © 2026 Dice World War, except third-party components. Third-party components are used under their own licences, listed on the open-source licences page, and nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licences. "Dice World War" and the game's logo may not be used to name or promote other products without our permission.
5. Your data and progress
The game has no accounts. Your progress is saved only in your own browser on your own device, and it can be lost if you clear your browser data. We can't recover it. See the Privacy Policy for details.
6. Availability and changes
We may change, update, pause or stop the game, or any part of it, at any time and without notice. We don't guarantee that the site will always be available, error-free or compatible with every device.
7. Disclaimer
The game is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of data and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the game. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your rights as a consumer.
9. Children
The game contains no chat, no user content and no purchases. It shows ads, and it isn’t directed at children under 13. Parents and guardians decide whether the game's theme of fictional dice battles between countries is right for their child.
10. Accessibility
We aim to make the game usable by everyone. See our Accessibility Statement, and tell us about any barrier you meet.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you live in another country, you keep any mandatory consumer protections that your local law gives you.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the game after a change, that means you accept the new terms.
